I just got my ceramic orchid mount that I made by hand back from the kiln about a week ago. Today it fell off of the table and shattered, breaking the rhizome and spilling the tree fern it was growing in. Is there any point trying to save it? 3 out of the 4 pseudobulbs and upside down, half of the roots were severed, and I have nothing to grow it on.

You could always pot it in a clay orchid pot in lava rock. I have a coel. growing with lava rock in the bottom and a small amount of sphag around it. This helps me to know how dry it is.

I just put it in a clay bonsai pot with hydrotone, bark, and Sphagnum. How long will it take it to recover. A new growth point was just starting to emerge when this happened.
