Default New Coelogyne in bloom

I just recently bought this little cutie and it opened up yesterday but today was fully opened. It has one more spike on it but, it will be awhile I think before this one opens. This is Coelogyne fimbrata.

Nope, stuck my nose in it and there was nothing. I just can't seem to get a mini that has a scent except the Miltoniopsis santanaei.

Julie,
Congrats, I love Coelogynes! Take a look at IOSPE PHOTOS
your Coelogyne could be ovalis, not fimbriata (IOSPE PHOTOS. I have a Coel. ovalis bought as fimbriata, they are very very seemed.

Boy, you're right they sure are close. I do think that I have the ffimbriata as the outer petals are a very light yellow not the darker like in the ovalis. They are awfully close though.

Very nice Julie! I almost got fimbriata, but opted for a larger plant of fuliginosa instead. I think I see two buds on mine.... and now I can't wait!
