Hi Judi,

All other things being equal, I'd consider changing one variable at a time to see if it gets results - start with the light, as that seems to be the determining factor with blooms for so many orchids. Maybe try giving it more light, and see what happens? Mine is eight inches from a bank of T5 tubes, just starting to get a pinkish tinge on the edges of the leaves. More light than the books may suggest, but it seems to be working. Good luck!

Stephen,
I currently have it growing in a south-facing window and thought that might be too much but with the winter sun, probably not. I guess I'll give a try with the T5s as everything else under them seems to be doing quite well.
Thanks for the additional info!

Judi

If anyone of you growers of this plant and you have responded to this thread would reply with an update that would be appreciated. Judi, did your plant flower after you provided it with a different light source? I know this is an old post, but I just acquired this plant and found this thread.

The new plant I received is appears healthy, but the pot and the potting media are covered with a green layer of moss or algae. The growing media itself is sphagnum moss. The pot was wrapped in a plastic bag and was moist. Should I repot it?
