Default Dendrochilum cootesii

Only two spikes, but seven new growths starting, and it blooms on every new growth. Much bigger individual flowers than the typical Dendrochilum. Interesting scent, too: think hand soap mixed with dirty socks.

Before I bought it, I read that you could grow the plant to specimen size in a 4"-6" basket. So, a lot smaller then some of the other Dendrochilum species. Mine is about seven inches tall.

Gorgeous, the blooms are so elegant up close.
