Pholidota chinensis
Default Pholidota chinensis

I've just seen a Pholidota Chilensis and I really want to buy it, it's only £16 for 5 bulbs (3 with leaves), which with Brexit, is a brilliant price for the UK. However, I can't find too much on good lighting, watering etc. I've heard they're similar to Bulbophylum, which I have an Elizabeth Ann Buckleberry' doing pretty well. The lights I have are Sansii 15w which my Cattleya is doing well under. In terms of feeding I use rainmix so not too worried about the feeding regime.

Thanks

Think you mean Pholidota chinensis. These are related to Coelogyne and very beautiful. Working on mine!

Oops, bad typo. How do you keep yours? I have some Coelogyne Fimbriata doing pretty well at the moment but I really like the look of Pholidota and Chinesis seems like a brilliant beginner one.

Just repotted mine with s/m and some treefern into 3.5inch plastic pot. Gets bright light near south window and about 65-70 deg. so humidity stays pretty even. Coelogynes.com is of help to me.

I corrected the spelling in the thread title, so that people can find it with Search.
