Hi guys! I got back from work and snapped a couple pictures. This cross is from H&R Nurseries in Hawaii. I was expecting more from it, but it's not bad. I was hoping for more spots or a fuller lip, but... it's a seedling. You get what you get! I might have to try my luck with another one when they come for the SF POE.

Honestly, this flower is MUCH nicer than I would have expected! Considering the background on this, I'd be very happy with this bloom!

This is probably close to the "best" form you would expect from this cross, but I would also have hoped for brighter coloring or spots. Get several more and give us a photo comparison in a year.

Haha. Thanks guys! I guess I was hoping for something more vibrant. It shimmers in the light and this is as true to real color I could get on digital! I'm hoping it has that color change Richard Mueller hybrids are known for. This guy will likely be repotted once it outgrows this container and sent to my mom because she's the one who wanted it! My growing real estate is like renting in San Francisco!

I promise to buy a couple more in February.

Im a sucker for Richard Mueller hybrids...

One thing I would say is give it a couple more blooms, my Richard Mueller seedlings had questionable first and second blooms. The spotting and coloration can be temperature dependent too with these hybrids.
