Brassavola Cordata?

Got this plant in a box with a bunch of mixed plants and a few orchids. I've had this guy a couple of years now and this is first blooming for me on this one, I have another that I have had for years and its blooms are much smaller then this one. So my question is, do you think this is cordata?

Plants look very similar, flowers are very close but this flower is over 3.5 inches, my other Cordata is barely 2 inches.

Could this be a large nodosa? I have 6 different nodosa and they all look very different in leaf shape, flowers have size differences but all look like a nodosa.

Good luck with the identity. Andy's Orchids has a few Brassavola 'variations' of this type of flower.
I just have two nodosa and a Little Stars so I am no expert on this.

cordata do have smaller and more flowers usually so you are correct to think that its a large flowered nodosa IMO.

enjoy it nonetheless its a nice flower and they smell good

I'd say nodosa, I have two cordatas and they are a lot bigger plants and more blooms each spike

Not cordata/subulifolia but nodosa, which is widespread and thus varies a bit.

I would say that if the plant itself resembles the cordata more, with the nodosa sized flowers, you might have "Little Stars"

my nodosa went out of bloom about two weeks ago, while my LIttle Stars has recently gone off gang busters!
