Default Cattleya luteola

Cattleya luteola - last year the buds rotted, so had no chance to see this beauty. This year I totally missed this spike, did see it only 3 days ago and it is already open. There is another one growing. Nice small Cattleya, grown outside year round mounted on balcony railing, lot of light and direct sun in late afternoon. Regular watering, fertilizing, adding seaweed and MagiCal.

:-) Well, I know what you mean, I see Cats as very easy killing orchids, this one is however doing great mounted flat on cork bark with no moss, even all our rain does not bother it!

Congratulations on those lovely blooms! This post is just perfect as I ordered one of these last night from Hausermann's and was wondering how I should set it up. Thanks!
