I love this species for the good shape, rich colours and bewitching perfume. It wants to dry rapidly after watering and can take a lot of light. The maroon spots on younger leaves and spathes are normal.

Beautiful! It looks a lot like the colour of mine. Mine has a sheath on it but I don't expect blooms for a while. I will enjoy yours in the meantime.

Lovely. I have one too,I think tipo which is lighter but still quite fragrant.
