I purchased a division of three pseudobulbs years ago. Finally it bloomed this winter.

That is a real nice bloom. How long is the spike? I have an anceps in spike right now and the darn thing is about 30 inches long. I hope it blooms soon, there's not much more room on the window sill.

It took about four years for the plant to bloom. Now it has about ten pseudobulbs.

The spike of my plant was about 50 cm long but I have ever seen some having spikes more than one meter.

Beautiful clear color! I have one with about 7 or 8 PBs, I thought it would bloom this year since it had bloomed last year, and this year's bulb is the biggest it has had, but nothing so far, so I guess that it will not bloom this year.

Yikes, mine only has 6 pseudobulbs at the moment! But mature ones, not from a seedling.

I have an anceps hybrid and it is blooming with only about 3 pseudo bulbs and the spike is only about a foot tall with buds forming. It should look like a semi alba anceps so looking forward to that-except it might bloom while I am away!!!

It's a beauty. Orchids teach you to be patient.
