this is a very easy and sturdy plant with amazing vigor, stronger than other walkerianas that i got.

this is a division i got from orchidweb from their stud plant, about a year ago, this is her first blooming in mexico city, only 2 flowers. hopefully the plant will provide more flowers in its next cycle.

Beautiful, love this one! What a great walkeriana, I debate parting with the money to get one of these really special cultivars every so often when I see how nice they bloom at people's homes. Sometimes I'm just glad to get mine to bloom at all!

i do have several walkerianas, and this is by far the most rewarding of all, very strong and vigorous plant, yes it can be a bit expensive on the market, but oh well, what else can we do.

this plant was a near Christmas gift i did to me (a year ago), ahem, alongside other plants from orchidweb. yes some of their plants can be expensive, but the quality of the plants themselves are worth it , the other great guy i bought some plants recently was from peter lin at Diamond orchids, good prices, and really good and healthy plants. (highly recommended) Thanks isurus for the heads up and recommendation!

Exactly, those commitments do come up. We're looking at houses right now, so it's a bad time for me to be falling in love with C. walkeriana, as even the "cheaper" plants are still comparably expensive as far as orchids go. Hey, have you seen OrchidWeb's YouTube video of walkeriana var. perola? I might wait on buying a house to have that one, good thing there's none available for sale! All kidding aside, I've been holding on to a bit of cash to see what kind of walkeriana's come up at shows in the spring where a bit of haggling is possible. It's testing my patience though.

yeah, and i do have that one too ( cross of tokio#1 x var aquinni), almost died, i bought a bunch of selected walkerianas and other selected stuff from them, but at the time i was still living in a small department without proper space and proper nothing, that plant did not came cheap but for what it is , i believe it was worth it.

plant is in the greenhouse and it is now in full recovery with roots and new growth (still away to enjoy their flowers).

i am really avoiding to caluculate how much i have spent in orchids in the last year, but i did managed to get some real bargains, like near blooming size legally propagated P. kovachii for 80 USD.

dont get me wrong , orchid hobby is not necessarily expensive, but it can quickly become VERY expensive when you go after selected hard to find/rare plants or cultivars.
