Oh lovely! Laelia's are such a treat! I have one with two spikes right now and I am so excited for them to open.

I have a Laelia that is taking forever to bloom. I bought it in spike back in August. The spike is now nearly 24" tall and has finally stopped growing and I can see buds developing inside the sheath. I hope it doesn't take the buds as long to develop as it did to grow the spike!
