Mini-cattleya mounted on cork
About six months ago I bought several mini-cattleyas and mounted them on cork tubes that are 2"-3" in diameter. This one is Blc. Mini Sound "NN #15". It's a tiny plant with a flower that's 2.5" across. It bloomed in April and now it's blooming for a second time.

What a delightful flower....I have one Cattleya mounted and it is really hard for me to grow it. I am just waiting for it to bloom and I will repot it.

Thanks for the compliment. I got it right here in Ft. Lauderdale from a nursery call Dan & Margies. I don't think they have a web-site.

This is lovely Tucker. I have been collecting tree fern root to use as mounts for a handful of cattleyas that I will need to divide. I'm thinking of doing a nice arrangement on a tall piece of tree fern root with the attention of creating sort of totem with 3-4 different catts; maybe 3 big flower catts and a small flower one.
Great growing as usual Tucker!
