Grown in moss, just like most of my plants, though it does also good mounted, especially if the mount is stuck in a bed of moss in the pot.

Beautiful! I had a tiny seedling of this species; did great for a couple of years but died after I repotted it Perhaps I'll try again sometime - I just love this species

Big and showy flowers on a small plant makes it very desirable, but usually it's not one of the easiest to grow. It should be repotted only when a new bunch of roots just start to appear at the base of the leading pseudo-bulb.

Growing orchids is also about exercising patience!! When you really want one, one way or another you end up finding it!

This is one on my "list" as well. How tall does yours get? What size pot is it in?

Hi Mauro! Beautiful plant!!
I've tried to grow some plants in pure sphagnum moss, but I can balance the facts that only sphagnum can't support the plant standing and if I push more moss, it compacts too much. How did you solve the matter?
Thank you!

Filippo
