So far I've had a good amount of flowers on them in my living room. Also posting to have a confirmation on the names on some of them.

Encyclia spatella not 100% sure on the name but that seems to be the curse of the Encyclia enthousiast.

Encyclia guatemalensis according to Dressler and Pollard Encyclia dickinsoniana according to Withner decided to go with Dressler and Pollard on this one. But this mainly due to difficulty to find which name is more accepted.

Encyclia hanburii aka hanburyi not the best picture but nicely showing the typical bend collumn.

And just because it's a nice smelling miniature Prostechea tripunctata.

Comming up should be Encyclia ambigua (if the name is correct). I bought the spatella as an Encyclia osmantha.

edit: as promissed

Directly one of my favorites flowers when flattened out are almost 5 cm / 2 inch high. As I read somewhere all flowers opened within a week and most in a couple of days.

I can't help with any confirmation on the names, but just wanted to say they are all lovely!

They are all lovely. With the first photo the Kew site has guatemalensis as the accepted name and dickinsoniana as a synonym for it.

I've added Encyclia ambigua see first post for pictures.

Unfortunatly I had to say goodbye to the Enc. spatella it has a virus.

I love the color combination of that first one, the spatella. What a beautiful lip!

I'm lovin' that tripunctata especially. How big is it? I think I go along with the lumpers on this one and merge Pollardia into Prosthechea, but that one is sweet no matter what the genus.

According to Kew it already is lumped together. But I think they made a mistake on it as they say it's Prostechea punctiferum from Brasil where Pollardia / Prostechea tripunctata is from Mexico. It's a small orchid 12-15 cm / 5-6 inch which typically looses it's leaves over winter.
