Default Cattleya aurantiaca (Bateman ex Lindl.) P.N.Don

So many times used as a parent for the beautiful orange color and the number of flowers. Unfortunately, it is a little bit tall for the modern standards and also not scented.

Very nice. I like the waxy orange flowers.

Exactly how tall are we talking about ??? Regardless of it the color is gorgeous and the amount of flowers is amazing. Isn't it a parent for Chocolate Drop???

Roly, mine is about 2 ft tall, maybe a little less.

This and my C Chocolate Drop are two of my tallest chids

Great color, indeed! I have one of its 'kids', C. Viola Sanjume, that has the brilliant color without the height.
