Default Rhynchobrassoleya Copper Queen 'Exotic Ripper'

Color change after 16 days. This hybrid is well known for it's color change.
You are looking at the same flower in both pictures.

A true classic and still one of my favorites. Mine starts out a very dark cherry color and fades to a beautiful cream with the Toshie stripes and faint pink undertones.

The colors in the first photo seem a bit muddy to me, but I love the flower after the color change. Very nice!

I agree. The buds were a beautiful dark purple-ish and glossy. Whey the buds openend I was kind of disappointed. The color from the buds faded.

I like however the end result. Maybe it will get even more yellow, currently it's like a sunflower yellow.[COLOR="Silver"]

I'm realizing just how washed out the pics come out - I posted two pictures a week apart here on this thread. The second shows the striping, but it changed again to a cream color before fading.

Thank you. I agree, I reality they look better. That purple is a very hard to get right in a picture.
