These are seedlings from SVO. Ive had them for two years now and they are finally big enough to bloom!

Ill start with the budding plants because they are quite different

One is a dark 4n cross, which is clearly quite dark and quite a bit stronger and thicker

tigrina 'SVO Dark Wonder' 4n. X
schilleriana 'SVO Yes 4n'

The other is two coerulea parents that apprear so far to have created a coerulea progeny:

tigrina f. coerulea 'Kathleen' JC/AOS. X
schilleriana f. coerulea 'Good Color'

Stay tuned, im excited to compare these two. The plants are only half size so i think I can expect quite a bit more from both of these plants next year. Perhaps ill post on this same thread in the coming years as they both bloom and gain vigor.

Also if anyone else has this cross id love to see yours! The flowers seem quite variable and im not sure how big the plant gets yet.

Likewise waiting in anticipation...cannot love spotted catts enough! And that fragrance, simply divine.

I hope your coerulea is really a coerulea! I just ordered seedling of a coerulea cross (Lc. Eximia x C. violacea) and the leaves are clearly pigmented, so a tipo it'll be...

Can't wait to see your results! I have both of these, hoping they will bloom for me this year too!

Ya when I bought it I didnt realize that coerulea doesnt always breed true. In my case the whole plant lacks pigment so im fairly sure it will come out blue.

I wanna see how your tipo comes out though!

Me too, and I'm guessing it'll be awhile - it's basically one growth out of flask!

This 4n plant is out of control! The buds have swollen to probably 3 times the size of the coerulea and have just cracked open. The petals are so thick that im wondering if they will even be able to undulate like the schilleriana parent. They should be fully open in another day or two

These are awesome! They still have a little bit of growing to do but they are currently about 4" across. Not bad for a first bloom!
