Thanks, Steve! The color and shape appear to have improved over the last few days. The fragrance isn't very strong, which is a bit of a disappointment. But, all things considered, it will not get the DoorDash treatment to the goat herd.

Beautiful indeed! I don't like all trianaes but I tend to like the ones with lip shapes that resemble yours.

Thanks, David. I have another trianaei that has a very narrow lip, which is not all that attractive to me, as it looks kind of pinched. But the rest of the bloom looks good, with full petals. This one, however, has a pretty decent lip (in my opinion). I appreciate your feedback.

The goats have been treated to a number of orchids over the years. Mainly it's been vandas, and usually after I've impulsively (and stupidly) bought some beautifully flowering hybrid and then 1) realize that it will never flower for me again, and 2) it's going to take up way too much room while it sulks. It's definitely fine dining for the goats. If they could vote, I bet that my home would qualify for at least one Michelin star by now.

As an individual who buys cabbage, celery, spinach, apples, etc, for both my chickens and goats during winter months, I heartily endorse your menu! I'd give at least three stars.

Beautiful blooms! What makes it var osmanii? It does sort of have a labiata-y feel to it, which I like.
