From 2014 SVO catalog archive
SVO 2374
L. anceps ‘Las Brisas’ x L. anceps ‘Ultimo’
These are two of the best anceps; expect 4-6 dark lavender flowers and full dark lips on long arching stems. These are showing excellent vigor. They will be really nice and surely sell out quickly.
I told Ruben I wanted an anceps with pointy, species-looking flowers, not big wide petals with rounded tips.

I totally agree with the aesthetic of L. anceps that look like the species not hybrids. This one sounds great. (I just don't see the appeal of the "Mendenhall type" with a big broad lip. A pollinator would not recognize it. To me, that appearance looks rather mutant.)
