Default Leptotes bicolor, var alba

This plant belongs to my co-tenant. This is the first blooming of a small plant, which originated at Piping Rock.

The flower is large and fully open (some bicolors are a bit 'cuppy'), so we selfed it, in the hope of propagating this fairly rare variety.

The majority of species come in alba forms. However, as alba is a recessive trait, you do not see a lot of them.

Quite interesting! My orchid flowered and had five pods fattening to become a flavoring for ice cream soon....

Do you know if Leptotes Bicolor var. alba contains vanillin to? Btw, did anything come out of the selfs?
