Bc. Yu Toung Star

[Dusty Ol' Man]

I know I said no new orchids until the move, but I ran across this one while at my least favorite big box store. It is from Better Gro and is tagged Bc. Yu Toung Star 'No 2'. I have searched all the places I usually use, but no 'No 2' anywhere. Does anyone have any information or a different source than Orchid Roots? At this point, I have repotted into s/h. The roots were in good shape, if a little dry, but they greened up quickly with a soak, so we shall see.

The No 2 matches the tag, thank you. Not exactly the lip I was hoping for, but I will enjoy it no matter what. And I'll post pics, of course, whenever it blooms. There is one new growth that should put out new roots very soon. And the Kelpmax bath will help.

One of the pictures I saw showed pink petals and seals with the darker pink lip.

I think the "No. 2" is just a cultivar name.
