Cattleya Dominiana: first bloom-dominiana_3-jpg

This is C. Dominiana (c.dowiana 'Boon' x l. purpurata 'Krull's Rubra' AM/AOS. It is the first bloom for this plant, comments on shape and colors are very welcome. She has a slight spring like fragrance, but it's been only couple days since the flower opened, the fragrance may get stronger.

That flower is beautiful. I like how it's pointing skyward too. Nice over-head shot!

congrats Inna. This has to be a very fragrant cross from what I've read. Have always wanted both but been put off by their size.
