Default Rlc. Memoria Crispin Rosales 'No. 2'

This bud was under the radar hehe. Just after watering the orchids, I just noticed something sticking out the side of a leaf, and turned out to be flower bud. The spike (which was a sheathless one) was hiding behind the neighbouring leaf. Hopefully it opens up to a nice flower - and then can show pics of it soon.

heheh ...... the pic in the opening post has a leaf on the lower right-hand side that gives the impression of boisduval scale attack or mealybug attack etc.

All under control though! It is just dust and imidacloprid spray residue that has accumulated. My orchid leaves pretty much never get wet. So the dust does get on them. And the light reflecting off it appears like the leaf is getting overwhelmed by something nasty.

Just loading an update - after a wipedown hehe

Will definitely post pics MGP when this one opens. Fingers crossed that it turns out ok hahaha.

Interesting that somebody had named this 'No. 2' haha.

Maybe nobody is then bold enough to "claim" No. 1 hahaha ------ joking of course!!! There's definitely some very nice Mem. Crispin Rosales clones of other sorts out there!

Finally opened !!!!!! The lip is actually - when seen with actual eyes - really quite wide and quite large too.

The camera lens (being just a single 'eye') doesn't seem to convey just how wide and big the lip really is ----- or how it looks with our pair of eyes working together.

That's only a comment on the camera only. If only they have reliable stereo cameras these days ----- then that would be great. They do make big lens stereo cameras - I think. But reliability and performance is probably still an issue with that sort of camera.

But - at least we can still share pics in this way.
