New growths not forming pseudobulbs?
Default New growths not forming pseudobulbs?

Hi all, these new growths on my encyclias have been growing since April/May but still have yet to plump into actual bulbs... should I increase watering and humidity? That’s the only thing I can think of? Or am I being impatient?

All it needs is patience. Just continue as you have been. The pseudobulbs will appear as the growth matures. Orchids don't do anything fast, and some are sloooowwwer than others.

Encyclias often don't fatten a pseudobulb until after that growth has finished blooming.

I agree with the assessments above, but I suspect more water would be a good thing, too.

How big were those growths in April/May? Much smaller? Or approximately the same size as they are now?

At the moment, maybe difficult to comment on it as we don't know what they looked like in April/May. If they have made nice progress in terms of growing (getting larger) since that time, then it's likely everything is nice - and just continue with what you've been doing.
