Any idea why you've killed them?

No. But it was long ago, so maybe I can halfheartedly claim that it was due to me being a novice with orchids. But it may have been plain mule-headedness, as this was also the time that I convinced myself that--in spite of everyone warning me to the contrary--I could successfully figure out how to grow Odontoglossum crispum in the heat and humidity of a Midwest summer (our summers are more akin to Singapore than they are to the mountains of Colombia). That was a much-needed lesson in humility, and in the perils of ignoring the admonitions of those who know from first-hand experience what they're talking about.

Looks good! Got a mixta opening soon over here.

@smweaver: Killed a few as well. In my case I underwatered them during persistently hot weather. Lost a few gems that I can't find anywhere anymore. Such is life. Now, I've learned to soak the others well, meaning 4-7 waterings per week in the summer and maybe 2 or even just one per week in the winter, but conditions here are different from yours.

Slooooowly learning

Really nice, enjoy. Do you have shops around with Cats? Or did you ordered online?

I am glad that in Portugal there is more Orquidea culture than here. I suppose it must also influence the connection with Brazil?

Not really. The increase of orchid culture seems (to me) that is spreading everywhere.

Boa sorte Rbarata.
It's almost 1 year that you have had it.
How is it developing?
A before and after photo?
