I don't have Isabelia virginalis, but do have Isa. pulchella which appears to grow under the same conditions. It is a rambler. - mine is mounted on a slab of tree-fern (hapu'u), and crawls along it, then off and hangs free. I'm hoping it will get big enough to be "trained" into a ball - I have see a plant that was very impressive grown that way. I grow it outside, so it is cold-tolerant at least down to about 35 deg F (2 deg C) It does seem to prefer good water - it is doing much better since I switched to RO.

Actually looked around, and I do have a small plant of Isa. virginalis - it is smaller than I. pulchella, and it is only starting to grow well since my switch to RO water.

Most welcome. Also - understandably, the name does look like the word 'Isabella', but the orchid genus is Isabelia.
