This and Rebecca Northen are two that I have on my wish list; I was absolutely delighted when I noticed one in bud at the Pittsburgh Botanical Gardens (Phipps) in December. I finally got a chance to go back and catch it in full bloom!

Looking at other pictures available online, I'm starting to wonder if the cultivar is correct. The tag at Phipps does say "Chadds Ford" (I took a picture of it too.) But according to Awarded Clowesia - Catasetinae Canada***** Your Catasetinae Orchid Connection! it looks more like a "Live Oak"! What do you think?

Definitely looks like 'live oak' to me. 'Chads Ford' is more of a creamy white color.

I tried to smell it, but I didn't notice any fragrance. It is in a big tropical greenhouse, though, I bet I could smell it if I had my own!
