the second male just opened today but as usual some nosy insect ejected the pollen before it had a chance to bloom fully. here is a pic of the partial bloom incurvum and also the female that i selfed the day before.

to my delight, there is another incurvum behaving the same way with a mixed spike forming as well. must be my lucky season
