hahaha roberta, you have made reference to eating pbulbs of certain genus before and each time it is so spot on, the really big ones look like they would be delicious lol

Well, just to close the loop on this thread, here's what netted out with "letting it do it own thing"...

Pretty happy with the outcome though I'll definitely be removing the a few of the top-most growths on the plant as I want to keep this one a bit more manageable.
