Default New to bulbophyllum and need information

I’m new to bulbophyllum and to be honest I purchased this plant for the scent. Bulbophyllum ambrosia. Now I just need to identify the new growth I just noticed today! Roots, new pseudobulbs or, Heaven forbid, buds! Somehow I think that buds is hope over reason!😒

It's a guess, but in the closeup photo I think the upper is a spike and the lower is a growth.

If you haven't already, you need to watch a video lecture from the bulbo king Bill Thoms. Roberta posted it here recently. Use Advanced Search on key words Bulbo and Bill, username Roberta.
