Default Blc. Gladys Oumae how to prevent root dessication

Hi.
I bought this Brassolaeliocattleya. It had poor root system so I put it in a very humid environment (a tall plastic container with hydroton and moss with plant sitting on top of not in it with a bag over it)and the newest growth grew 10+ New roots. I decided to transfer it into bark medium in a plastic container. Just a little concerned that roots might die off because some of them have this black color around them. What should I do to prevent it from dying? Put moss around it? Water more often?
Currently, I water it x 3-4 days. Temperature is in 70-80s and humidity 50-60%. Thank you
