What Bud says.. I left the phals/vandas out to about 50 and the catts/paphs down to 40.. I wont have to bring them in again this year. Its still 95 in the day and now I have to think about heat too

Summering orchids in the NorthEast, when to bring them in? Male
Default

It got down to 40 F last night here. My Dens are still outside but next to the house so they have a little protection. Keeping a close eye the night temps from here on......

Summering orchids in the NorthEast, when to bring them in? Female
Default Here are some of the ones outside with buds or sheaths

first one is: Ctna, Starrlyn 'Yellow Flare'. It seems to bloom on every new lead.

second one is:

third one is:
Lc. Ann Akagi 'Hihimanu' (Puppy Love x C. walkeriana') It also seems to bloom on every new lead. It bloomed shortly before I placed it outside.

fourth one is: C. New Dawning 'Flowers Galore'. it hasn't bloomed for me yet. It has four sheaths. I see something developing in some of them. It was a sale orchid from Hausermann's orchids.
I reviewed the order here: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ann-order.html

The leaves looked wonky when I got it. I am not sure if it is sunburn or what it is on the leaves
