A friend and I attended this orchid show in March and it was wonderful to see so many varieties of orchids in person. I'm sharing a link to our combined photos. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if any orchids at the show were extra special, though many of them were truly impressive. There were Phals so big that I would have a hard time putting my arms around them, plus Vandas and Dendrobiums as tall as I am! And I gained a new appreciation for paphs and phrags.
Not all of the pics are great quality. The orchids are on the first 17 pages of the album and of the orchids that were labeled (not all were) the label follows the picture of the orchid. The one pic attached is of some non-blooming orchids living on a tree trunk in the Climatron rainforest.

While most orchids aren't suitable for my windowsill growing conditions, I am starting to dream of a greenhouse after attending the show!
Actually, I think what I need is my very own Climatron
