An orchid show is a lot of work before, during, after and in between...if you haven't joined your local one yet, please do so. its an experience that will defy words and does, after you fill out about 15 them too tiny exhibit tags in a foreign language.
I had a great time all weekend, even if my camera didnt fare so well...the plants needed something extra. I gave em liquid fish for they prize

You're tellin' me! Our show was last weekend also, and I worked all three days all day long. My feet are still killing me! It was fun though. I spent quite a bit of time answering people's questions about their plants that won't bloom. Also spent a good deal of time explaining the difference between ribbon judging and AOS judging. Three plants in the show were AOS awarded so that was pretty cool. I put up some pictures of the show on Facebook. Search for Rogue Valley Orchid Society.

Congrats on your ribbons RJ! Nice plants!
