Me again...Just read some more of your angreacum posts...this plant is in a ceramic pot? If the pot is glazed, cut the watering to about half of what I said before! These plants grow on the edge of jungles in Madagascar, near the ocean so they get plenty of dappled light to strong light and a constant atmosphere that is moist but breezy...very similar to us here in FLA. Angreacums DO NOT like to be disturbed and will sulk for awhile after being repotted...try not to disturb the roots to much and GET IT OUT OF THAT CONTAINER...if it is glazed, pref. a slat basket ( as for Vandas) or a coco-fibre basket with a Cattleya/phal mix and some chunk cork...remember light and airy and moist.

Thank you for the info....I have been using worm tea on it to fertilize it and also 6-30-30 fertilizer. I water it once a week....it looks like its gonna bloom in about a month. Someone said to not let it be in the sun but to let it be in high light....so I have it in a South window and put a sheer over it when the sun shines in the window to protect it from the sun. Does this all sound ok to you?

The orchid is planted in a plastic pot but I have it then put into a glazed pot so it wont tip over. The orchid does not touch the glazed pot at all....also then after I put it in the glazed pot I put it in a basket to make it "pretty". I dont like the glazed pot because its ugly and its the only thing I have to make it stable so it wont fall over......what do you think about that? Do you think thats ok?

Note the age of the other posts in the thread... I don't think that any of the posters in the thread are still active.
