Default Cattleya won't bloom

I am a newbie to Catts. My Cattleyas are all three with bloom sheaths, but the sheaths are flat, and I am afraid they will just rot away and not produce blooms. How long do they normally stay flat sheaths before blooms pop out? It seems that mine have had these sheaths and been in this same state for about a month!

Judy it depends on the plant's blooming season. Some of my plants won't even produce sheat but just as the new leaf finished developing there are the buds; some other will produce sheats and about a month or so after you can see the buds developing inside the sheats and then some other will prodice sheat and they will dry up like my Gold Digger and after the sheats have been dried for months then the buds emerge in the spring. So just be patient and do not remove the sheat even if it's dried.

Ditto to what Roly said. Your plants look pretty good to me. Be patient, and post some pics when they bloom!

Your watering looks inconsistent. THe pseudobulbs are excessively wrinkled and the leaves are rippled, which look like underwatering. The sheaths can stay like that until the plant is in its bloom season which can be months. Be careful with the watering though because you could blast the buds.
