I gave seen 2 videos on YouTube where it was mentioned. It sounds like it is something of a semi hydro method, but I'm not sure. And thank you in advance.

For s start:
PET Potting Method

Board member isurus79 has utilized the method, and talks about it in various posts. But his video (at the beginning of the referenced thread) explains a lot about it.
