Should i give up in this poor thing?
Default Should i give up in this poor thing?

I got a brassocattleya ploenpit stars but the 2 weeks of continuous rains we got last month decimated it's roots. In addition, I'm pretty sure I also started the problem when I "may" have gotten carried away repotting it before the rains started. I went picking off its roots from the 1-inch wide plastic pot it arrived with. Sorry, newbie with no idea what I was doing.

All I'm left with are 3 leaves. They've been sticking around in the same state for 6weeks now. I don't have the heart to throw them away like they might just magically grow roots. I'm just hanging on to them out of guilt and wishful thinking, I guess. 😢😅😢

Can you please look at the 3 leaves and tell me if any one of these have a chance at survival, and how, or if I need to let them all go.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Looks like the base of the pseudobulb, where the meristematic tissue would be for new growth, is gone.

Sorry.
