Default does this nobile type dendrobium need repotting?

hi!
this dendrobium nobile is HUGE, but the pot is soooo tiny that it's funny lol. this season, it grew a lot of roots, and grew a lot crowded down in there. the bark is very good tho. so i was wondering if i could just plop it with new bark all around it?
however, i also heard that dendrobiums like crowded roots. but this is getting a bit too crowded. thank you!!!!

I would leave it for, at least, two more years. They like to be pot bound.

It's probably really annoying to have it be so top heavy, but it looks like there is plenty of room in the pot for more growth. I'd leave it

Put the pot inside a heavier pot (a decorative pot, for ex).

The time to repot Den. nobiles is when new roots are just forming. That's usually very early Spring.
