Talking Keiki or new blooms

Hello.

I was so happy to see that my phal is growing a keiki. All of them till now were basal keikis and I really wanted a normal stem one.
I googled keiki and it looked the same. A week later I saw There were 2 buds growing. Is this a flower stem with buds or a keiki with buds?

Also one flower on this phal has a bit weird bloom. Is this considered peloric?

On the other stem I noticed also a new growth-keiki or stem-last photo.

And one photo of my fluffy companion Pokki

Yes, it's somewhat peloric.

Hello.

A quick sum up. I am happy to say that it was really a keiki and a flower...and on the other side a new flower spike.

The flower and a keiki were pictured on 8th of october 2021 and a bigger keiki later on today.

Hope the keiki grows some roots soon.

looking good shani.
Even if it produces roots which you want for sure you want to leave it on the motherplant for as long as possible.

I know the urge to want to have made a second plant so you seperate it and are happy. But then the motherplant and keiki are grown next to each other and you notice the motherplant grows faster because the keiki hasn't got as many roots.

You then think why did I even seperate them? It's going to be years before the keiki can also flower and now it is growing slower than before

Ah well, lesson learnt, no rush removing the keiki.

Hi Shadeflower.

I am not planning or prematurely cutting the keiki off.The phal had a rough patch because of summer heat and I thought it will die and I will have a keiki at least. Today they are both healthy and going strong.

Since i have an opportunity to show off, why not. This is a keiki i got a little less than a year ago and its blooming for the first time.
