are orchid keiki's produced on hybrid orchids or do they grow on species only?

They can grow on hybrids as well! For 'natural keikis' (produced by the plant without human intervention, like cutting spikes back) a plant's propensity to make keikis will depend in there are species in it's background which tend to produce keikis. Many hybrid Dens produce keikis for instance.
