The highs have been in the low 70s and it's been sunny. Yesterday was beautiful. I always think I will be able to extend the outdoor time to the end of September but the weather never cooperates. I left out my kingianums and put out my paphs/phrags as an experiment to get these stubborn plants to bloom. I always get upset when I have to bring them in (it's so much more work when they're inside), but once I killed some cymbs by leaving them outside (can you imagine?) so I try not to be risky. However this time I'm trying something with these paphs, and if they die so be it! Only one has ever reliably bloomed for me, and temperature may be a factor. Last year my kingianums didn't bloom because the window I normally put them in didn't get cold enough--a pretty mild winter. So I'm leaving them outside for longer this fall. Luckily the sun is out and it hasn't been rainy.

All of the plants are inside, now, even the citrus.

I am in the process of bringing mine in. I always seem to scramble to get them in. I try to prepare my growing area ahead of time but it never works out!! I am leaving my cymbidium's outside ( I put them in my shed if it frosts). I am hoping they will finely bloom this year.
