I think I'm about to order one lol. I just have to decide if I want to splurge and get a couple Cattleyas too.

AWESOME. I just called Marlow Orchids. I was worried about shipping the podangis dactyloceras in the near 90 degree temps we will have here next Tuesday/Wednesday. They reassured me on that point.

The AWESOME part is that he says 2 of these plants are developing spikes and the other 2 will be following right behind. We are in for a flower show!!!! 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻

Well crap. I called 6/4 because my order keeps saying “pending payment.” And I found out yesterday via email (couldn’t ever reach by phone) that I clicked the wrong button and made it a phone order. SMH. So Monday they are supposed to call me and get my card number. I’ll probably get the very last scraggliest one they have.

WTH is my problemo?!?

WW, I don't think so. The guy I talked with there was laughing with me about our run on this orchid. There were only 4 plants and the way he talked about them made me feel like they were all at a similar point in their growth. I think we'll all be seeing flowers this season. He also said they'd be getting more in stock.

Marlow is about an hour and a half from me. I've been to their greenhouse. Nice people with nice orchids. I'm hopeful that we'll all receive wonderful plants. My biggest worry was the blazing hot temperatures we'll be having next Tuesday/Wednesday.

For what??? I truly was joking... Marlow has done right well on this, they deserve every cent. Actually, I'm delighted to inspire people to support all of our quality vendors (of whom there are quite a few) Without shows, they need every bit of business we can give them. Besides, we all need more orchids...

I did almost added a Podangis to my order from Marlow a few days ago but I thought I’d leave it for someone who would have wanted it more.

While it is cool looking, it isn’t 100% my style. I did however get an Angraecum viguieri from them.
