Normally I would consider liquid fertilizers to be "paying for water" but I can't discount the quality of Dyna-Gro foliage pro or Grow formula at 1/4 tsp/gallon at every watering. for a beginning hobbyist that doesn't have a huge collection Dyna-Gro products are awesome. They are complete 1 part fertilizers and they generally stay very pH stable when diluted.

1) A tiny bit of fertilizer at every watering is what the plants get in nature.

2) Dyna-Gro products are great, but remember that you are paying mostly for water.

3) The pH stability has little to do with your fertilizer. It’s all about the alkalinity of the water. Add D-G fertilizers to RO and the pH will plummet.

I used MSU with CalMag for many years. Recently been using KLite. RO water. Both work well for me in winter months, growing inside. Summer months, I use water from my koi/water garden pond, and use fertilizer maybe once a month or less.

Forgot to answer the OP's question.

Generally, echoing what others have said, you can use the same fertilizer on all your orchids, and if you vary anything, it would be concentration or frequency of fertigation. For instance, salt sensitive masdies wouldn't be fed the same amount as orchids which love lots of fertilizer (ex: Catasetinae), but you can definitely need the same thing. What makes you say that the orchids you list don't like what you're feeding?

I've changed fertilizers several times over the years (Orchid focus, to 20-20-20 and now MSU) and I've never noted much of a difference in my plants.
