Do you often reposition your plant?

Do you change position of the plant/pot?

I don't think it is too much fertilizer. Too much fertilizer causes root tip burn which can lead to leaf tip burn.

It could be a calcium deficiency...

The area you live - does it have a lot of limestone? I'm not familiar with the geology of Sri-Lanka. If your country has a lot of limestone, then your water should have enough calcium carbonates in it.

Thanks dear for your replying me.

No there isn't some considerable level of limestone. Do u have some experience of calcium deficiency like this?

Another doubt is of high level of salt in the potting media of pot plants.

I've seen stuff like what's going on with your Dendrobium before. It's usually not a big deal, but it looks ugly.

Just add some calcium powder. I don't know if you are able to get a hold of something like this in Sri-Lanka. Maybe if you can get a fertilizer with calcium in it. It doesn't have to be a lot of calcium either.

The salt build up is calcium carbonate. That you'd have to use soft water to rinse off.

Another thing I'd watch out for are root problems.

Calcium has to be dissolved in water for the plant to be able to use it. If it leaches out and becomes crusty on the pot, it doesn't help the plant.

I don't know if your plant's roots are good or not, but I recommend you do a routine check every-now-and-then when you can.

Make sure there are enough roots with green tips on the plant.

Lack of water can result in these symptoms too.

Except you water enough, so the next thing to look at are the roots.

When you do a potting medium change, that is the best time to look at how the roots are doing.
