No,
when it comes to things that are wrong in the world this is not really up there.
Just to put it in perspective it is still legal for funfairs to hand kids a goldfish as a prize...

Now anyone who knows anything about the practice will know most of them end up dying within hours.

The people winning the prize have no home for an unexpected pet so down the toilet it goes.

This? This is nothing compared to a live animal. So yeah this fridge magnet will end in the bin in a month.

At least an animal did not die in vain for a few hours of entertainment on a fridge...

In truth, I'm libertarian, so I agree. I want government out of people's lives. My post is tongue in cheek, but you might have liked to be a fly on the wall when my wife found out about this. Ohh, my. She adores tiny plants, and killing orchids on purpose really sets her off.

The first question that popped into my mind was “why?”.

That is certainly not a long-term option.

So they've moved from Tillandsia and succulents to orchids now. Can't wait to see the blooms!

At least tillies have a fighting chance. Isn't there an SPCO? (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Orchids)

Are they glued in? Are they cheap? If the answers are no/yes, then I'll take a dozen and try to save em. Surprise me with some success and maybe a blossom or two.

Used ones of course... after you have taken care of the wine.
