I would also vote for Rl. Aristocrat. Long-lasting flowers in winter, nice soapy fragrance at night.

I've long been wondering why growers have not developed colorful cattleyas with the full expression of the digbyana fringe. My guess is that it has been tried but doesn't take.

I've contemplated getting a 'Ports of Paradise' far more times than I can count. One reason I hesitate is that it is a very old clone and most of the old beauties are virused. Is there anyone here who tested one?
