Yes, it happens to me too, and it is frustrating and the only reason I do not enter every day ... Sometimes it works OK for me, mostly it does not. Then I close and leave ...
Apart from this, this is a fantastic forum!

It seems pretty clear that whatever structure was in place to provide for this site has fallen apart. If administrators and moderators cannot get answers, it seems unlikely that things are going to get better on their own.

I hope that things will improve soon. I find that I miss replying to many posts just because it suddenly slows in mid-session and I eventually just log out.

It is a shame. I just recently found this board and really like the "feel" (people and information) but gosh the performance and loading time is crazy bad at times.

I honestly thought the problem was on my end until I found this thread. It does get frustrating but I'm mostly housebound so this is my go-to for knowledge and if I have questions. If a page is taking a particularly long time to load I'll just go to another tab on my browser and look at something else while I wait.

I do the same thing, if it's taking forever to load I'll go to another tab on my browser. Usually it loads right up when I do this. I don't have to wait long, just come back to the board. Sometimes tho it times me out. It's pretty frustrating. Time outs can happen while replying to a post.

I use Chrome 99% of the time but will switch to FF when things don't work right in Chrome. I have the same problem either way.
