Well, I haven't bought a new orchid yet. I really want to get the bathroom completed before I do so that I'll have a place where I know it will thrive - but I'm almost finished with stripping the beadboard, so it's moving along at a pretty good clip. In the mean time, I've become an information sponge. Now is a good time to educate myself.

I did buy two books on Phalaenopsis - Moth Orchids: The Complete Guide to Phalaenopsis by Steven A. Frowine and Culture of the Phalaenopsis Orchid [First Revision 1990] cover featuring Phalaenopsis Nancy Gordon "Shamrock" (published by Laid-Back Publications) by Bob Gordon *boy, THAT was a mouthful!* The first book will be here tomorrow - the second book will be here before the tenth of next month.

I will probably buy another Baron's Kaleidoscope - actually two. But I've been making a looooong list of the orchids I want to get. . .so there will be many many more, I'm sure. I think I'll stick with Phals for now, though. When I get the hang of those to where I really know what I'm doing, I'll start branching into other types.
